Results of Spanking: (FF5 game Spoilers)
Dec. 15th, 2002 06:53 pmI got by Exdeath with most of my crew(Bartz, Reina, and Cara) at about 2000 hp still, but poor Protect Ringless Faris had only 1000 or so. Proceeded to fight Neo-Exdeath(guys, if you get this far in FF5, feel free to push the number buttons on your probable emulator to turn off the background.. it's quite dizzying compared to the beautiful one proceeding it>.<)
Neo-Exdeath proceeded to spank me. Got me with status ailments (particularly 'stone') until I had three dead and one petrified. Went back to save state, used cheats dear ol' Mattimeo the poor sick non-Kureji at the moment dug up for me. Noticed that Bartz at the top of the line of command had 9999 hp.. every now and then it'd go back to 2960 for some reason. Everyone else had 999, and it'd dip down to 998 and go back up@.@ Quite interesting. Proceeded to spank Neo-Exdeath with my summons (Mimicked many many many times. What, you don't have the Mimic job class? Go find a walkthrough and find it:P It's immesefully useful what with it's ability to mimic what the last person did without mp repercussions). Watched the end-game dialogue. Thought it very nice, and very very long(somewhere from fifteen to thirty minutes I believe@@) Felt empty. Megan suggested I go back and beat it without the cheats, but I was rather sick and sleepy, so instead I piddled around 'til 9:00 and went to bed.
Woke up this morning about five o'clock with a runny nose. Woke up again at 6, went to get the kleenex box from the living room, used one tissue, fell asleep with said tissue and box beside me still. Woke up again at a quarter 'til nine. Woke up five minutes later, wondered if I'd really been asleep. Woke up again ten minutes later, thought 'screw this' and got up, noting the kleenex box in the floor. Took box back to living room, said good morning to dad, and proceeded early morning rituals.
Plugged in Christmas tree lights, lied on the couch for a while, with the towel I got from Megan yesterday (I'm a true Hitch-Hiker now!), went to play the piano, realized I was badly out of practice with 'Nearer, My God, To Thee,' (odd, I've started spelling practise with a c now.. Stupid Keyboarding class) and realized I still didn't have 'My Heart Will Go On' back in my fingers. Tried valiently. Ate breakfast. Despite looking good in the frying pan, bacon wasn't crunchy as expected, and was instead nastily chewy. Or it might've just been because my nose is giving me horrid trouble, dunno.
I figured since I wasn't going with Tisha to church until 11, I had time to waste, so I got onto the computer. Looked over mail and crap, finally was able to get on IRC, no one on, of course, wasted time in #harrypotter, but soon quit reading. Pulled up SNES emulator unchecked the 'apply cheats' box and proceeded to save slot number 1. Realized this was the one *before* the Exdeath battle, and pulled up number two. Watched the dizzying background and my futile attempt at a libra on Exdeath which hit Neo-Exdeath instead, and proceeded to check my shields (I love you Golem, Carbunkle, and 'Big Guard'!) Proceeded to spank Neo-Exdeath again and didn't even die. Good ol' shield spells/summons/blue magic ^.^ Started to watch ending again, but didn't feel like it. Got dressed in mah sweet pinstriped pants for church and waited in the living room for Tish. Banned mom and dad from Mike Warren the penguin. They keep pushing his button for him to say stuff and I didn't want the batteries to run down like Sarah's mouse's had. Went to church, had problems with my knee, found out about a kewl sounding Independant radio station that apparently only plays music on weekends, saw a hawk by the side of the road, Tish thought I was talking about a hitckhiker.
Got back on the computer, wasted time at MH and Neopets for a few hours. Nichole and nephews came up ('sher birthday) and we got Toy Story started for C.J. and watched Austin try to pull himself up into the standing position^.^ Took shower, am kleen now, and have just talked to Tish's grandmother Frona and been congratulated about yesterday.
It's sinking in now, isn't it.. I'm actually going to have to do this in January.. But with my luck, it'll probably be canceled or something else will happen:/
Anyways.. Might need new gaming interest now that FF5 is over.. Any suggestions? (either for the ps2 or snes@.@)
