BAND BAND BAND

Mm, woke up at eight o'clock by dad. Started planning an outfit for maximum coolness(lack of heat), and minimal stupidness(lack of stupidity:P). Noticed that it had started raining. Panicked slightly because most of my clothes were white shirts of some sort. Raided the dryer for a black shirt (how.. monochromatic@.@) By the time I'd gotten mostly dressed and had 'breakfast' (need to go a bit further in this tomorrow.. carbohydrates@.@) I realized that the rain was stopping and probably wouldn't go on all day. Still didn't change back into the previously mentioned white shirt until dad mentioned how hot and muggy it'd be because of the rain -_-

Went outside, because it was still raining, but the sun was shining, DOUBLE rainbow:D Havena seen one of those in a while^^ It looked like it ended in our pasture, and then the neighbor's pasture down in the valley^^ (of course when we drove by that place, it looked more like it was back at the school, but you know how things are with rainbows^^) Got dad out to look at it, and we decided to leave. He couldn't believe I wanted to go down there *early*

Anyways, we get down there, and several people are all ready there, like megan and danette, and nina, nicole, and david got there when I did.

Piddled around inside, talked to everyone, watched Jasmin try to terrorize the freshmen (my friends@.@ It seems like they shouldn't be in band yet... They seem like they're not quite ready.. and that they keep grouping together to protect themselves from everyone else.. That's bad@.@ They won't integrate as well with everyone else, plus when I'm off keeping up with all the other people while they're talking, I'll be outcast from them:P)

Listened to Mr. Ray talk, went outside to start practice. Just covered the basics--parade rest, coming to attention (band! ten hut! [pride!*snap*] or summat..) and prep-kicking. Eh, the percussion section isn't really going to march, I believe it's going to be some sort of thing in the middle of the field, and only maybe adam and derrick (quads and snare) doing any marching. Although, if Derrick marches, Jennifer will have to for one song, as she's doing snare-rides.. @.@;; Or something -_- I feel uncomfortable roll-stepping; I'm almost positive I'm doing it wrong, but no one's saying anything, unlike how they did with my prep-kick and snap to attention:P (I'm a keyboardist.. like you should expect us to do that stuff? -_-)

Eh, i'll finish this later@.@ I'm sick of it all ready ^^(just the post.. not the things that happened in it@.@)
