mm, diet caffeine free dr. pepper is the bomb.
Mostly because I'm too lazy to actually pour a drink of something else, so I've got in in the big two liter bottle here.
Anyways, today, I shrank a bottle, got 0wn3d by a marlboro, woke up at 9:30, and obtained some ffx-2 fmvs.. (what does that stand for anyways? full motion video or something?)
Heh, the coke bottle was one of the already little ones.. it's like 12 ounce or something.. not the tiny ones, but pretty small. I stuck it in the oven at 350, and I should've taken it out after two minutes. I had set the timer on 5, not thinking it'd do anything, but when it got to three, it popped. It looked all weird too; the neck was bent almost 90 degrees, so that you could hold it sideways in the sink and pour water into it normally. It would've been cool if the bottom hadn't popped so it doesn't hold water anymore.
Anyways, this evening, I was playing ffx, capturing some monsters inside sin.. I was one monster away from getting Ultima Buster (5 of each monster) then I got a great marlboro. It didn't even ambush me! I figured I'd survive if I didn't hit it by the time its turn came. I didn't even bother quick hitting it ;_;
Well, it would've gone perfectly, except the last move auron had made was a defend, so his wait was short. Right after the badbreath, his little poisoned darknessed(!), confused self.. He got a hit in on yuna. Killed her. 99999 too. I would've been proud if it hadn't been yuna he just killed-_-
Anyways, he keeps trying to take potshots, and the poison wears him down. Then, it's almost rikku's turn after she gets hit by a little spray. She wasn't poisoned, so all her potshots didn't hurt.
He hits her.
he dies of poison.
I get a game over.
Allie is v. v. v. angry.
I head back to the monster arena to see how many monsters I had at my last save(I knew that gil ending in 666 was bad-_- it was 5 million something, and then sixhundred sixty six:P) It wasn't too bad, mostly a lot of gemini's gone. But I was still ticked off, 'cause I had only needed one Barbatos, and they're freaking hard to get sometimes. Like tonberries, except not so bad^^
So I gave up for a while and went back to getting those fmvs.
I'm not entirely sure why I did it.. I can't remem.. Oh yeah, now I remember.
I had been looking for dress sphere pictures of Paine in her Samurai dresssphere, to aid the one I already have, so I could use one of ILCK's new bases to doll samurai!paine. I decided to look through the ffx2.com forums, and I googled to find another site I remembered from a while back that had stuff on capturing fmvs. I saw it and remembered they'd been trying to find a way to get them, so I thought I'd see if they got anywhere in the last few months.
Well, they had. In a lot more complex proces than with ffx (no one seems to have written a program for it yet:P how sad) which consists of making an image of the dvd disk then using this 'ffx[2] universal extractor tool' you end up with almost 10000 files, all of them named something like File2215 with no extension..
Bleh, those other guys explain it better than I do. So after a lot of frustration and low disk space warnings, I have eleven ffx2 fmvs:) It's weird though; I thought the dresssphere changing scenes were video instead of rendering.. Hmm, maybe they're one of the many of the 10000 that no one has bothered to check through. Gosh, I tried for a while and got tired of it really quickly.
The ones that I do have though are the opening song (real emotion), the thunderplains concert, the ending+credits, the 'good ending', a couple of treasure spheres, I think, maybe one of them is from the almost end (both featuring vegnagun) yuna with her guns at the beginning, and a few others, obviously. I decided to quit with the whole thing after I started trying to figure out codecs (without much help from rick¬¬) and yeah
After that, I got sick of everything else and left something downloading from some website and went to regain my territory in ffx.
Well, I got 0wnz3d by Ultima buster too, but that's all right^^ I rather expected to. Anyways, I can do some sweet levelling now, since I've got clear spheres. The entire time I've refrained from using the spheres you get at temples and from the species creations and stuff, I've got like 42 mag defence spheres from one eye 'cause I was trying to get weapons.. I think they have triple over drive on them^^; Anyways, back to the gamefaqs site to study back up on sphere optimization and I'm set:D Then to finish off my list of monsters (macalania, bikanel, Mushroom Rock, Omega, Sin, and Sunken Cave, I b'lieve) and try to take on and get obliterated by nemesis.
I will beat that sucker one of these days^.^;
