The Secret Side of Percy

aite, so the surprising thing isn't really the email, I was more surprised at only getting 58 filtered spam mails (two lj comments included) since thursday night.. that's scary.. usually it'd be more like 158 or more for three days.. but anyways...

One, with the subject of '50 cent vs Eminem - who really is bigger

But the sender.. 'Alix' of Percy2193@Percy.com

I figured percyfangirls would be interested to know about that^^

(it was spam of course, but spam amuses me)

After a long discussion with my dad on the poorness of Arkansas energy, I have come to the conclusion that this page is lots of B. S.
http://www.1800arkansas.com/Energy/index.cfm?page=energy_saver

Easier way to lower energy bill would be to do what Clarksville is (they're about thirty miles away from here). Which is, of course, running a 70 mile power line down from somewhere in the eastern part of the state that isn't under Energy's jurisdiction, so they don't have to pay Energy's rates.

If that guy who put up all those AP&L lines back in the 30s could be here today, I'm sure he'd just break down and cry.

Or maybe not, he ended up being a millionaire by the time he was like 23. Or something like that; arkansas history was last year.

We have a nuclear power plant, three hydro plants on one river (still trying to find out for homework how many there are in total) and a ton of trees we could burn.

Yet our energy bill is still $90 in the winter.

(Apparently people in Lousianna want our energy we make for less.. which according to dad would force us to foot Energy's lack of profits they'd make there then. Joy)

Well, while I'm waiting for the pdf (!HATEHATE!) of "Radioactive iodine therapy: effect on functioning metastases of adenocarcinoma of the thyroid" to download.. I'll reminence about the band trip^^

Went to school Friday, got my inch-thick packet from Mrs. Friga (lead defence lawyer for mock trial.. Anyone wanna help with "State of mississippi vs. Peggy leClaire" ? ) sat through speech and finished our review sheet (did mom build a fire? I smell woodsmoke..) then there was math and the quiz.. Ended up doing pretty good, got a 17/20^^ Anyways, then it was 10:00 so I headed back to the bandroom:D We chilled for about a half hour, had our bags checked, I told darla (mrs. jones, deryck's mom, friend of my mom's) about my antibiotics and she sorta waved them off as unimportant in the fight against drugs, so that was good^^;

People wasted a lot of battery and film just waiting for everyone to get there:P (adults can be so slow, you know) And then Tisha was like 'do you have anyone to sit with" and I didn't, so she said she would, since there were few other people she could stand to sit with (one bus, sixty+ kids) all the way from here to Alma to Kansas City (right angle^^) Anyways, she's a junior so finding a seat wasn't a problem. The problem was getting on when all the other freshmen were going 'oh no!!111 teher's no place to sit!!11'

Then we finally left. And I'm continuing this tomorrow, seeing how I got that paper downloaded and another page of my brochure done.

(I wish I remembered what was on that other page of that stupid thing)

Now, what to read before bed.. MS vs. Peggy Le Claire, or Neverwhere, or 1984, or Soul Music? So many choices..
