A note to all upstart dollers who think they want to run a contest.

If you're going to do this, do it *RIGHT*

Spell people's names right. Spell their sites right. Be precise. It'll keep you from alienating them.

(I have been called 'ruhba' many times, and linked to snowy.com and probably several variaations.. Does it take that long to double check? or even to *paste* from an email? geeze)

why is alice's restuarant *ALWAYS* playing?

I don't pay attention to winamp for a while, or I leave and come back, or I go to town with mom or dad.. and it's always. playing.

*shrugs* weird phenomenon I guess.

(or maybe it's eighteen minutes long and really easy to hit in that span)

I wonder what mrs. jones is going to say if I show her the sketchbook she gave me for art I at christmas.. I didn't use too much of it, and there's several things in there I like, which make up for the pages of doodles:D

some of those are from beginning art (the red and blue one, the town, the still life..) and the rest are from Art I. The last two are silkscreen prints, one color and a two color.. Heh it took fourteen tries to get that bird to look as decent as it did-_- lucky person that buys the old prints--in my case they'd get the best:) Cutting out all those freaking rocks with an x-acto knife took forever though@.@; I kept tearing them:/

If you'll notice, the white bits on the butterfly are the same as the baby dragon:) I kept the piece I cut out and carried it around and drew on it, and it looked like a baby dragon:D

Then, when we did um.. *thinks* marblized paper (the paper the dragonfish is on) mine looked like a chinese dragon, so I drew another one, and it ended up sorta fishy^_^ So we decided that baby!dragon was this guy's kid:D so they were matted together^_^

the cavern was an exercise in rendering the same scene in warm and cool colors.. a lot of people liked this one:) the town was one-point perspective.. I *think*.. It was brock's idea for the helipad on the theater:D

the still life was with... charcoal yeah, on thick paper.. I dunno why there'd be a bottle of paint down at the bottom of the ocean though@.@ the jug pot thing in the middle is one that mrs. jones made:) This one made it on the wow board:D

the one with the water was sorta inspired by english class. We read this short story (can't remember the name) about waterbugs and frogs, and we had to do a 'one-pager' thing on fear. it was like draw a picture of something that scares you.. I can't remember exactly what, but when we had to draw something with geometric shapes and three insects for art I, I figured using waterbugs would be fun.. It came out pretty good I think..
