I might have some luck as a lyrics transcriber one of these days. Except for the fact that I couldn't make out hardly any of any of the verses after the first one.

We got all our christmas decorations taken down in half an hour today. except for the tree. but everything else (I would've done the tree, but I didn't feel like taking it outside, getting it out of the stand, and lugging it to the bluff)

that's a new record. and it was just me and mom, and she's sick with bronchitis.

Cory came up this morning, about five minutes after I got up-- he brought the last of my christmas presents-- the first season of sailor moon (I TOLD you guys this year was the 'everything I've wanted in the last several years' year)

I haven't watched it yet, but it came with this catalog, so I looked at it-- I decided I wanted the vash keychain:D so cute^_^

Anyways, remembering that I have the lyrics to The Skies Above now, I went and played the piano for a long time to try and get it matched to them. I got the first three stanzas down, but I dont' know how to go back to include the last one. My best guess is to start over from where a signa would be (if it was in that format, but because it doesn't repeat, it isn't. but it's the place right after the beginning) but in a higher octave. I wish I knew how to transpose [better/faster] then I could switch key signatures to change it up even more.

it's so much fun finally being able to sing along. it's like, a shortterm dream come true!



Oh! The guy that wrote a lot of the words, and sang Otherworld (not the black mages one, the original) and says the 'Maybe I'm a Lion' in maybe I'm a lion has almost the exact same name as meriseri.

This is scary. (they have different middle names, and he doesn't sound anything like seri, so it's okay;))

I think my stumbling block about hair applies to rinoa only. ing. this isn't cool.

Observe:

Rinoa's hair is nasty. It looked so friggin' scary before I used soften on it. It actually was worse than the in-battle animations of her. Seriously. And now it still looks scary.

Squall's hair is awesome looking, imho:D Maybe it's just because I like his hair and it isn't all clumped together like rinoa's is.

or maybe it's just the bases I keep using. You'd think that eventually I'd get one that looked good. but nooooo
