A rant.

Guys, browsers are *web browsers*

They are not image manipulation programs. Despite what programmers may want to plug into them, the fact remains that firefox HATES resizing images on the fly.

Plz don't do it then. Just friggin' make THUMBNAILS.

You do not save bandwidth by forcing an image to display at a fraction of its size, but you do cause my RAM usage to leap through the roof.

Thank you.

(I finally realized that #eoffstats page was so slow about loading because of THOUSANDS OF RESIZED IMAGES. It makes me ;_; )

casey, you ought to take this quiz if merely because the options for one of the questions all seem like they came out of john denver songs xD )

anyways, man, I'm glad I have iTunes if only so I can convert m4a to mp3, so I can play them in winamp3. I've got like a week's worth of m4as converting right nowX.x; about 30:O

Anyways, I think dad's knocked the spider's web back down:/

It got cloudy last night and came close to thunderstorming, but it all went south of us over Mt. Petit-jean and we didn't get a bit of rain.

But man could you tell the difference this morning.

I decided to wear my orange and grey long-sleeved shirt that I had wanted to wear yesterday, and boy was I glad I did. It was about 50 degrees out this morning, and after 90 yesterday, it felt nice.

It stayed cool all day long. I guess the thunderstorms took away the humidity and the heat, and those two sorta keep each other in motion; hot air holds more humidity, humidity makes it feel hotter.

Anyways, it was darn nice in band today. Riley suggested we turn the pit to face the stands, which we'd never done before. It wasn't very difficult keeping up, shanna wasn't there anyways (she's our drummajor; she's got kidney stones and has had to miss a lot of school). It sucked that we were staring straight towards the sun, but I guess that's what we get for playing away from it the rest of the season so far xD My face and neck are a bit sunburned, I've noticed xD

The quartet sounded really good the second time we ran the show. Megan said she thought it sounded worse, but I thought it was good-- david's trumpet was really clear, and megan and tyler were hitting their notes together. Maybe they weren't in pitch, I can't tell anyways, but at least they were together. It gave me a feeling reminescent to that I used to get when we played Olympic Spirit. real proud and stuff.

Football game at Lamar tomorrow, contest at Charleston saturday. We got 1s there last year; I hope we will again. I've just about got victim of love down. I've got it memorized, but I can't play the last four measures of C for some reason. I don't know if I'm not counting it right, or if I'm leaving out a note, or if the trumpets are, but something's wrongx.x;

my rolls have been annoying me lately. For some reason I can't get them to come off evenly and they sorta sound bad. I could always roll slower, but I think that sounds worse. But when we play smoke on the water, I can get them real good xD
