Um, all region was alright. It wasn't as good as it's been before (the music was very flute/clarinet/trumpet centered). I sorta knew teh clinician though. He was a friend of a friend (katie the french horn player) He was a little aZn guy with a ton of energy xD He was nice to the percussion section (sixth chair, since one guy moved up to first band to fill a hole) since we had such crappy parts :] we got to do a little stand in front of the band thing after the last song.
I managed to totally forget to bring my brown shoes, so I was stuck with wearing sandals. but it was too cold to wear sandals this morning, so I wore dad's houseshoes xD
um um um interesting highlights.
The mall was not crowded this morning, all the survivor hopefuls must've been around back when we drove by. but this afternoon it was PACKED (like Wal*Mart on its opening day)
grilled herb shrimps are delicious. Better than the steak was.
maaaaaang what else.
Oh! Dani bought a pair of butterfly wings at claire's and wore them to evening rehearsal (we had three rehearsals with a combined time of like nine hours) and to the social at the holiday innafter (that place is getting old after staying there four times!) We said she was from Atkins.
She danced with this guy she knew apparently named Cody. It was dark in there, so I didn't recognize him as the guy that had been sitting in the bandroom by the keyboards. but at morning rehearsal, he was like 'hey, you're allison right?' and I was like 'uh, yeah?' '?' 'sorta weird when strangers know my name, that's all xD' 'oh, I was at the dance last night' 'oh cody' 'yeah, dani was making me dance.' 'xDDDD yeah she does that.'
He was sorta nice, I think he kept looking at me though x.x;
There was a .. . uh. . contra bass clarinet guy that looked like and acted almost EXACTLY like adam penman (former quad player for pottsville, now graduated and attending Lyon college where they wear kilts). Dani claims he was flirting with all three. I sorta gave him a cold shoulder xD
"Hey, if you want some advice, the best way you can get a guy to like you is to pay attention to him, call him by his name for a couple three days, then ignore him flat out."
We weren't sure if he'd tried to get guys to like him or if he was hinting we should do that to him.
I find it difficult to think of anything else that was of interest. Questions will be entertained.
Also, continue posting your pretty pictures. I want them all.
