Mar. 27th, 2006 10:49 amokay so what did I do when I disappeared this week.
. . .
Over there, the days ran together in the way like it seems there has been another day. You wake up and go to one place of a morning, come home, and another day which starts at dinner you do something else out in town and you go to sleep and wake up and go someplace else. It felt like there were about twice as many days as there were, two per solar period.
Saturday we showed up at little rock too early. t00bed there until our flight to atlanta. the ATL felt . . . homey. Waiting there for the Gatwick flight was comfortable. We sat in the terminal looking right at our plane and it was so pretty with the sun setting on it.
I popped some benadryl saturday evening to try and get some rest, but when I was just getting sleepy they served us dinner, which I barely tasted because of sleepiness. Then they put on Goblet of Fire which I wanted to watch, but I didn't want to watch since I wanted to watch somewhere other than an airplane, and I couldn't anyways because my audio didn't work. So I sat there being sick and rather miserable because I was scared my sinuses would dry out and be excruciating, which they sorta did-- I popped a tylenol everyday this week and I'm thinking about one now, except I don't hardly ever take medicine, and I don't want to be a tylenol junkie lololol.
I got a little sleep, not enough, but around 3 in the morning (I don't know what time. It could've been gmt or cst, but I don't remember. It was dark outside) I was just looking out the window of these spanish speaking people in the row to my back right and I thought 'man that water looks really pretty' When it got to be light I realized that it was actually the wing of the plane, but I like my memory of the moon on the water so that's what I remember.
There was a guy sitting right to my right (aisle in between) who ordered several red wines. He was totally hitting on the stewardess and might've tried for us if he'd been given the chance xD
flights are so long zomp it's crazy.
The breakfast was horrible (bananas) but we got to GTW about 9:30 gmt. We started freaking out over the accents that came over teh speakers when we landed xD it was l33t. Then giving the adsfk guy my little landing card+passport was so neat, because he was so nice (why aren't american workers so nice? ) and he asked polite questions and smiled and told me to have a wonderful time in england.
We got our stuff and headed upstairs to find GERRY, our tour guide.
He is a character.
( and then we did stuff )
