Why do I only feel like doing crafty or creatin' things late at night when I need to go to bed?
Watched more Cardcaptor Sakura today. that show is so cute. And DANGIT, I'm picking up dumb japanese again :(
I went Christmas shopping today; got stu something which is kinda hot, and he definitely can't get anything like it in ohio. Got my dad a toboggan (even though I think he has one) because he was complaining the other day before his head was cold. I picked up some more cards for the EoFF card thing. I ended up using up more of my walmart and hasting giftcards. BUT I was sneaky, I picked up $20 worth of fakesplenda(if it's a fake fake, does that mean it's the real thing?) and put it on a birthday giftcard so now I have twenty dollars pocketed in cash that she gave me 8) I didn't even realize how clever that was until JUST NOW.
I got brent a bahamut statue from hastings (I was going to get him auron, but those were $25, and then I was going to get him vincent, WHO WAS SMALLER BUT TEN DOLLARS MORE) that was $17 and he totally doesn't deserve it, and I'm not sure if he doesn't already have one just like (FOA THEY HAVE KEFKA STATUES THERE, I THOUGHT OF YOU) but anyways, it'll give him a way to remember me for the year when I'm at college and he is not! (he plans on going to U of A too, although he has a lot of time to change his mind)
Speaking of U of A, I need to decide if I'm going to try to be in the Razorback band. I really have no clue. I guess I could talk to Mr. Ray and to Tisha. I don't feel very confident about even all-region, and I've barely got that worked up, much less well enough to beat out anyone else auditioning there. I dont' even know when I would have to audition by etc etc etc.
The sun was super creepy looking today. Like an apocalypse. I was driving through this evil orange cloud on the way home, and it was like the sun was swallowed up. And then I got up to the top of the mountain and the houses there perched on the bluff looked sooooo creepy with the orange sky behind it (this was like 3:30pm). I tried to take a picture of it, but the cam batteries were dead so I wasted time fiddling and hten the cloud had moved and it wasn't as creepy.
BUT IT WAS DANG CREEPY WHILE IT WAS THERE.
I took the other picture like 4:40 or 5:00. It was hot pink. The picture doesn't do it justice.
Um, on my birthday the other day, my aunt and uncle and cousin came up and they were talking about how these two pitbulls had come up and were trying to beat up(terrorize? attack? chomp on?) their labs and how my aunt was sooooo glad my cousin was inside the house.
Well this evening, my mom was taking my nephews home, my dad had left to get supper, and I'm working on a sig for EoFf. I hear my grandparents' dog barking, and after a minute I start wondering why. He's a Chow, so he never ever barks. We wondered for a while if he was deaf. Anyways, I look out on the porch, and there's Tyge, Reita, Sam (the barker) and these two shiny dogs that are brown and a little smaller than Reita. They are ganging up on Sam viciously. I start pounding at the glass hoping they'd get scared and goa way, and then they aren't, so I fiddle with the lock (my nephews put the dumb nightlock on, so it wouldn't unlock and I was getting frantic) and they started to back away from the door by the time it was open. I was a little afraid of being bit, but after I was fidgeting with the lock I got more and more into "OH MY GOSH PROTECT MY BABIES YOU CAN'T HURT ME I AM INVINCIBLE GET THE SGJK;ljdsag;lsagfd;ajsgdl OFF MY PROPTERY" mode, so I tore out after them screaming at the top of my lungs and I picked up a little toy plastic rake and I slammed it on the concrete several times so there's only the handle left and the dogs all ran off and then I went back inside and called dad and he said he'd be right htere. Apparently instead of getting all the way into town like I figured he had, he was at the end of the road. Anyways, after that, I grabbed a real rake with real wood and very spiny spikes on it and pulled ons ome shoes and a flashlight and set out looking for those evil mothersucking dogs, and then dad pulled up and he got a gun and later he told me he had got one of them (dont' tell the animal protectionists, they don't understand concepts like "omg menace to community, they set on our dogs first") but I think they're all alright. I got tyge and reita inside and I hoped that sam wasnt' going to be molested, but first and foremost, tyge and reita weren't. Mom called my grandparents and my cousins who live up the road, and she didn't say anything, so I guess he got home alright.
My adrenaline has picked up just typing about this. I'll never get to sleep tonight.
Oh also I found a proxy to use on portable firefox on my usb drive. I hope it works at school xD I was kinda surprised it worked. I fail at that stuff.
