I'm looking through old lj posts and suddenly I wonder if I ever told you guys I did wind up being a National Merit Finalist and scholarship reciever. Uh well, I just did!
Some of these days I'm going to have to learn to deal with disappointment. Currently, it tends to make stu have to stay awake for an hour+ of what he would like to when it occurs xD
College prep stuff:
e-mailed girl who supposedly is going to be my roommate, still haven't heard back from her, looked for her on facebook/google found school news paper articles but no means of contactage. WHATEVER.
have a microwave, have bowls/cups, have towels, have shower THONGS LOL
um I can't think of anything else.
If you were on irc or paying attention to me on eoff, then you already know this, but man I replayed disk one of ff7 (I might have accidentally saved over that xD) and like became a fangirl. I think it's subsided, but man I was so sad at that thing that happens at the end of disk one! I mean it didn't really affect me any the first time I played it. I even started to draw FANART.
Anyways, it made me really want to start a new game of ff8 (where did my memory card go? plz to be telling me) so I did that. Hanging out in balamb garden before the fire cavern getting AP by Carding enemies etc etc etc. Got minimog with my only card of note being trauma xD
Maybe I should just play through the game for the story. PSH whatev.
Um, things I have actually done? Not many. Still hanging with stu (until the 12th). Wanted to have a double home movie date (movies at home rather) with two of my friends, but that afternoon, despite being perfectly well before, I fell vastly ill; dizzy, feverish. It was freakish.
Stayed home from movie and also Family Bible Week (which we did make it to three days!), stayed awake long enough for stu to watch the Princess Bride, then slept for an hour and a half, at which point I awoke and wondered how long I'd been asleep, rolled over, and continued to snooze. Stu woke me up at 2:30 when he came to bed (omp lol) and I felt pretty great, so I downed some more medz and continued sleeping until some unearthly hour in the A.M. when the PUPPY decided he would love on my fingers and put his BONE under my BACK in my BED.
Disgustingly loyal beast! I cried aloud from the surprise and also the sharp pain in my back! Then went back to sleep until 10 at which point I got up and started my Saturday.
We ate at some half baked wannabe italian restuarant that opened recently in town (pretty crap) then wandered by the byrum family reunion where I did some interesting parking (I'm trying to get the picture off stu's cell right now, maybe it'll be uploaded by the end of this entry), um, I think we ended up going home after that. Why I'm detailing this I'm not sure, it can't be interesting.
Um, went to church today, then saw Spider-man 3. Personally, I think the whole movie was worth going to just to see Peter Parker be assertive. I told stu how hot that was, and then explained later when Peter illustrated how much of a turn off having too much confidence and just being arrogant and cocky was. Very good lesson time for boyfriend I think!
anyways, did some of Roogle's Days of Dokal rpg, which is really entertaining and novel for me, because I've never really RPed like this. It's always been more 'novel writing' rping. (I mean text based people stuff, not videogames)
I think I got snowy-day all updated now. I can't think of any other pages that were making calls to a database that i need to change, so I think everything should be working (for you guys it should've been working before. There's just some secret pages I'm using for my own ulterior motives. Call it a web-app! anyways don't look at them :( They're mine!)
