so i did some things today
Jan. 18th, 2008 12:21 amk so, from this morning on:
1) had a dream that the dudes from 404 and stu and I and some other dudes were in this gang. And one of the 404 dudes was trying to buy a big huge palet of beer for some reason. I woke up before the transaction went through. There were a lot of cops cracking down on underaged buying though xD And also our gang was decorating for halloween, for some reason.
2) I woke up with a headache, and I dunno why, it was really weird.
3) got to play with static electricity in physics lab. And I used an ubuntu machine to take our lab quiz! Note to self: take course guide to lab in future.
4) it snowed this morning (kinda) and was really really cold walking up the hill (but I did! be proud stu!). I had to go to the registrar's office, though, and they had hot chocolate in there, so I was 8)
5) I didn't have math, so I had an awesome ton of time for lunch, but I had no internet, so I bassed some They might Be Giants and hung my clothes up finally. I also decided I wanted to build a variable lighting system for venetian blinds.
6) for lunch I had a lot of southron food; jambalaya, paella (funny, wikipedia says they're the same thing more or less), some mushed up beans or something, and some lima beans. while this was all delicious, it left me hungry at the end of afternoon classes.
7) I was dumb in amerigov and had a piece of paper out writing down random observations while we were taking a scantron quiz. It was so boring though; we had ten easy questions, and they didn't all fit on the screen at once, so the instructor kept moving them around so I had to wait forever to finish it. It was stuff like 'what document contains the quote, 'we the people'' but yeah, I didn't realize until afterwars I probably shouldn't be writing during a quiz, but it didn't matter anyways.
I also took notes on his powerpoints. He thinks that we need to defend america for our prosperity and also that federalist paper #10 was against the infractions.
whatever. He has these eyes, and I can't figure out whose exactly they look like, and it's driving me nuts. It's not a crush or anything, just an intense familiarity.
8) I want to do study abroad. They have a program in Besançon, but the application is due next week. honoes ;.; we had a lecture on it that pretty much sold me. I mean, if I was deliberating and FEC just comes out and is like 'hey guys, study abroad lol!' then that's a sign, right?
9) had my first honey mustard chicken sandwich from quiznos of the year. It was wonderful. i wish I had gotten a regular instead of a small.
10) k so, xkcd right? well, metafilter linked to a post there about this new method of chatroom moderation they were going to try out, and me being the IRC addict I am, went and tried it out. For several hours.
And I only got devoiced once, and that was because I wanted to see what a simple :( would accomplish 8)
11) I'm really sleepy all of a sudden, and i have the luxury of no class until 12:30 tomorrow. C'est fantastique.
