Thoughts of Thinking
Jul. 11th, 2008 01:06 am1) holy crap, the planet we live on has stuff on it. holy crap holy crap. it's so amazing. There's like trees, rivers, people, ants, etc. Not mountains or clouds, because other planets have those. But we don't know of a planet that has a tree on it. How come we're so lucky? It's so amazing. Crystalline structures are pretty in a sexless soulless kind of way, but organic shapes are just improbably incredible.
2) When you find stuff to occupy your time, your vacation passes so much more slowly. I was at the same time horrified to find out it was already thursday (not entirely looking forward to monday), and amazed that there were still two weeks left until annie's wedding. Did stu and I just discuss how it was two and a half weeks, not just two weeks? And there's still three whole days before monday.
3) I had another thought, but it has gone home early for the week-end. It'll be back, I'm sure.
