wastin' my time

I have recklessly spent so much money today. Some premeditated purchases, some impulsive, but is that bad if resigned to only a few days?

Purchase #1: those beautifully soft moccasins featured in the last post (from the store)
#2: Payless was having a buy one get one sale, so I got a yellow suede purse. It's so soft. It's a short handled one; I've never had a short handled one before. Stu made me promise it wouldn't be relegated to being a camera bag (I got a black purse at wally last year and decided to start keeping my dSLR in it to great effect :))
#3: 80gb iPod. I'd been wanting one for a while now ;ooooooo I think I've suffered long enough with my current MP3 player, so maybe this one will be nicer?

So a lot of money, I guess. But I feel less guilty about it because I looked at the sheet of approved purchases, and iPods are allowed to be bought with stipends :) so that's probably the more appropriately I've spent money! Well I exaggerate. I probably spend enough on gas through a semester to make it honest.

Anyways, stu keeps hinting that he needs a laptop and givin me the puppy eyes xD

I met my brother's new puppy. She's so sweet, I said we should call her Splenda. Reassured his cats. Watched Monty Python's the Meaning of Life and enjoyed it a lot more than I did the first time. It's so peaceful being comfortable with sex and sex jokes.

My day feels like there was more to it than that, but there you are, I guess. I looked at my statics book and put some stuff away but I haven't really studied any. swtdrp

I had more dreams this morning

I dreamt I was in the Rollets' house again talking to Andrea, Nicolas and Manon. I spoke in french to them but they replied in English and I got frustrated because they didn't speak english that well when I was in besançon.

I also dreamed I was experiencing the seventh harry potter book. JKR was going to write so much more, but she left out everything unrelated to hallows and horcruxes due to space. It started off with harry overlooking a stream hearing the voice of Dumbledore in his head, thinking about the last things DD had said at the end of HBP. He was also thinking about wormtail and how the lifedebt would be repaid him.

I had my first big sobfit since starting celexa this evening and it was because I had completely forgotten how to do Calculus.

If/when I start to go senile, the times when I remember the things I used to know are going to be so hard. That's scary.
