Insecurities...

rubahI've never been really insecure about my appearance. Actually , to be honest , I've always just figured I'm pretty hot and that's that. Not that I run around screaming it to the world , because hotness is really a matter of personal opinion , but I've generally not really had many problems with being insecure about myself.
Until one day , a friend of mine said "Wow , You have Really Pointy knees!". Pointy Knees? I looked at my knees. Well , they looked the same as they always have. "They're not pointy!" I argued , very sure my knees were quite like everyone elses. "They are! Look at mine!" He said , sitting on the ledge the same way as me. I must admit his knees were not as pointy as mine ,but I was determined to prove my knees were just like everyone elses.
"Yours are like that because you are a boy!" I argued defiantly , sure that my knees were still rather normal. He then called upon one of our female friends , who took his place on the ledge , a small audience gathering for the knee comparison. "Wow , your knees really ARE pointy!" she exclaimed , and her knees were very much like the guy's , and nowhere close to as pointy as mine.
This then exploded into weeks of being referred to as pointy knees and "Coincap knees".
Until the same friend realized my elbows were quite pointy as well. "Look , she has pointy knees and pointy elbows!" and thus , a crowd of my friends gathered to observe my pointy joints.
Thus , I suddenly find myself abnormally obsessed with analyzing the knees and/or elbows of those around me , and , as of yet , none that equal or surpass the level of pointyness of my own.
Does anyone else have pointy/coincap knees? Or elbows? Or am I really just a mutant?
