I always call her a she. Probably because I know a chick named Eden.
ifrit, diablos, brothers, leviathan, bahamut, cerberus, alexander, tonberry, cactuar, doomtrain, those are the ones I picture as guys..
shiva, siren, pandemona, eden, those are the girls (if GFs even have genders.. but I like to think they do)
queza and carbuncle are harder to define.. quezacotl's probably feminine, and carbuncle masculine, but yeah..
Queza: Quistis, Irvine, or Selphie
*Shiva: Squall
*Ifrit: Zell
Siren: whoever needs her.. usually Irvine or Quistis I guess
*Diablos (he always comes first in my mind because I don't bother waiting to open the lamp^_^) Squall
*Brothers: Zell
*Carbuncle: Rinoa
Leviathan: Zell
*Pandemona: Squall/Rinoa
Cerberus: Zell/Rinoa/Squall
Alexander: Squall/Rinoa
Doomtrain: Squall
Bahamut: Irvine/Squall
Cactuar: Zell
Tonberry: ?
Eden: Squall.
After pandemona, the lines start getting really blurred.. except eden. she's awesome and belongs to squall totally. Heh. I begrudge every time Irvine has to summon Diablos.. 'cause he's squall's GF, and what the heck is irvine doing with him, huh? I had someone picked out for tonberry, but I can't remember who now.. and poor cactuar and bahamut get mixed around so much because I have to use them for levelling all the time^^
The reason Squall, Rinoa, and Irvine are up there so much is that they're my preferred party. I picked them for the missile crisis to return to Balamb the first time I played, because they were stronger, and they remained my main party ever since. Quistis, Selphie, and Zell just seem made for each other. They're the brighter colors in my mind, while SRI are darker and cooler (in more ways than one)
Hmm, I also thought I had someone for Alexander, maybe it was Squall and I didn't feel like putting his name down *again* (I like to give him the good GFs^^)
Hyne a she? I always sorta thought it was he@.@ I guess it would make sense, since they supposedly put themselves into the sorceresses...
