From an Apple ad in about 1977.

violet, green (16K RAM minimum required)"
Painfully does that not only remind me of my first computer, but also of speech class.
1) I had 16 mb of ram. not kb. hahahaha you loose.
2) apparently in early television actors wore green and purple makeup so the cameras could see them more easily. rawr.
