Of course, Russellville has one of the what.. thirty? reactors in the US, and I'm just a short distance out of the twelve mile zone.
And Strickler, AR had one of the very first breeder reactors (I think it's off closer to OK though, somewhere south of fayetteville)
That and I find nuclear stuff really really really interesting.
(other fun stuff-- the chemistry teacher at school was the guy ready to press the button if the government called for the missiles in the silo over by Blackwell/little rock somewhere to be launched. Oddly, they're the same type of rocket that took people into/close to space. (dangit, I can't remember the name, but it's on my shirt from space camp.)
