Feb. 13th, 2006 10:37 pmEvery time I do anything techy to my computer, I feel as though I have gained points on my l33tness level.
After tonight, I feel that level has been very much compounded.
Stu and I were bad little lovers and agreed to open one another's presents the night before, (I think dad was a bit bewildered by the second UPS truck delivery in a week (first was prom shoes which are teh hawt)) and waiting within one of the prettiest boxes I've seen was a pair of the prettiest RAM you'd ever seen (if all the ram you'd seen wasn't actually ram at all due to the fact that when you look inside your box you don't have a clue which it is)
So now, it's effectively doubled, and oh my gosh it just took an hour to put in, but I had t3h l33test techie on the phone commiserating and offering ideas (which was actually right btw, but I didn't realize it could be pushed in further xD) so it's all good now ^_^
Okay, so sunday night, I discovered that one of my nephews (I am going to assume for the sake of argument that it was Austin. I also believe he would be more apt to do this) had scribbled on this picture I'd been working on for ap art for like a week. And I was getting sick and being glad that it was almost done. And then suddenly there was this great green SCRIBBLE across the head of one figure and through the leg of another and everyone's like 'LOL CAN YOU ERASE IT?!!"
DUDE, it's marker!
But today, I cut a section of the same kind of paper and redrew the figures (and they look better now) and tomorrow I'll finish and affix it somehow and continue where I left off (making it look like a clock with wooden numbers).
I totally pwned Mr. Ray's 'Minimum Proficiency' exam he gave to the band. two percussionists didn't make it (out of 11) and two trumpets did (out of nine) I think most of the flutes did, and four clarinets, all the saxes, and four of the trombones. Asked mr. ray for my grade, and he said he'd written it down as "100+"
