I was pleased when I figured out I had to get fran alone to get it. After a couple of hours of wandering giza and the estersand.

And then I realized quickly I should have freaking saved.

I died pretty quick. I think my characters are mostly level 12 now. but not having any "LOL CURE PETRIFY" gold needles didn't help >:[

Then I realized just how long ago it'd been since I saved ;.;;;;;;;;

But I went at it again. I thought I'd be cleverer this time!

Nop. Everyone died.

Then the people I brought in died.

THen I thought "oh great, restart time"

BUT THERE WAS PENELO.

Hello Penelo.

Penelo has neat things such as Water and the lvl1 black magics, and disable. It was freaking handy.

Anyways, she was throwing potions on herself and fleeing (I hate wasting ethers >:| Even though I fed one to Ashe who then DIED. and regaining MP as she ran, and being pecked at while she ran, and once she got enough MP she'd cast water or OMPSTOPEVERYONE at the big cluckatrice, and somehow, it died and so did a chickatrice. That was the weirdest part. One minute I was running for my life tossing down potions like mad, and then suddenly there's just three monsters left? And they're doing like 0 or 1 dmg? Oh sweet.

EXCEPT THEY HAVE A MILLION HP.

this is like the third time I've had less than a full party survive a battle

This game is so great.
