Feb. 4th, 2007 12:44 amI think file:///C:/WINDOWS/Media/onestop.mid is my new favorite song.
A thought:
[mostly] girls concern themselves with trimming their bodies down to size, to be as small as possible.
[mostly] boys concern themselves with trimming their operating systems down to size, to be as small as possible.
Today's discovery:
If you are dissatisfied with Window XP's choice of wallpapers, please go to C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper. Here you may rename, delete, or add wallpapers to your heart's content. They will show up in your Desktop tab when you right click your desktop as their filenames.
Okay I did that thing again where I write up an entry but don't post it. So this segment will be devoted to:

Aomy came to be with us in 1998 I believe, as a kitten. He was the progeny of one Grandma Roberts, who is not my grandma, but the great grandmother of some of my cousins, which is close enough, as far as cats go. Mom decided after some research that Aomy was a Maine Coon type of cat. He was very big as cats go, but not fat, as most big cats go. Aomy was lean and an impressive hunter. Despite having no front claws, he very often brought mice and birds to our door step, beheaded and begutted.
In his kittenhood, Aomy was friends with Monarch Butterfly, who disappeared a year or so after we got them. Monty was a very soft yellow tabby, and he and Aomy were like the kind of close kin that they named the city of Philadelphia for. There is a cute picture of them crawled up in a baby stroller asleep together, and in the dryer and places.
Aomy kinda disappeared outo of my life from then to a couple of years ago. He was always there, but I never saw him much? I don't know. But I rediscovered him and it was nice having a cat around.
Then we got young cato, and he was afraid. Funny how all our animals are so afraid of young animals. They're all terrified of Muss xD But as the picture showed, they started to get along, and slept on beds together, but not as together as he and Monty.
A couple of weeks ago, Aomy came in and laid on my bed and did not move. Usually when I got in bed he'd jump off to go elsewhere, but he would not be budged, and this was perplexing and distressing, because he laid right where my feet ought to go. Then we realized that he'd gotten hurt out on one of his hunts, and one side of his face was all swole up and he wasn't eating. I tried to tempt him with milk and cried as he backed away from it. I brought up taking him to the vet with my parents, but they declined.
Then one day, the swole up place on his face was gone, with just some puss and blood, and his eye nearly looked normal again and he ate. I found several bloody spots on my blanket right after we'd washed it, but he seemed to be doing really good. he'd smile at you and purr like anything.
And then Friday morning dad tells me he's dead:[
I don't know if it was because of how torn up he'd been or something else, but a very excellent cat is gone now, buried only my brother knows where.
