  quique says:
hey - what's wrong?
Inconsiderate Beast says:
I'm ticked off 'cause my computer refuses to connect to the internet.. and prove that it's connected. the box will pop up saying it's connected, but I can't get on IRC, check email, access any websites, etcetera
Inconsiderate Beast says:
so now, I'm on mom's laptop.
Inconsiderate Beast says:
proving that it isn't the phone line at fault
Inconsiderate Beast says:
so
    quique says:
so you're being like this just because of the comp? -_-
    quique says:
i thought someone died or something.. o_O;;
Inconsiderate Beast says:
add that on top of muscle soreness from ropes course
Inconsiderate Beast says:
and all that stuff that happened yesterday that's over with
Inconsiderate Beast says:
and that I should be over by now, but am still in a bad mood about
Inconsiderate Beast says:
makes for a very unhappy allie
    quique says:
and what happened yesterday?
Inconsiderate Beast says:
well, there was ropes course right? that was all fun and dandy, wonderful even.
Inconsiderate Beast says:
but then, even though we got off early, and could actually eat *at* mcdonalds instead of ordering and eating on the road
    quique says:
what exactly is this ropes course?
Inconsiderate Beast says:
it's a leadership/training thing
Inconsiderate Beast says:
they harness you up, teach you stuff, and let you crawl around on ropes forty feet up
Inconsiderate Beast says:
anyways
Inconsiderate Beast says:
it started raining.. it seemed like it was hailing too, and people started getting freaked out by the lightning and possibilities of tornados
Inconsiderate Beast says:
but I didn't care, and I was trying to reassure megan and carrie
Inconsiderate Beast says:
anyways, we got back to school, still feeling good, had to call dad though, 'cause we were early
Inconsiderate Beast says:
anyways, I figured he might've misheard me where I said to wait at, so I ran up the dark hallway to the other end and half the way back when I saw him pull up right where I'd been
Inconsiderate Beast says:
so when I left to go to the high school to get ready for graduation, I was sweating and a bit more tired
    quique says:
that last thing isn't such a big deal.. is it o_O

    quique says:
graduation? @_@

Inconsiderate Beast says:
it's an all-for-one story
Inconsiderate Beast says:
yeah, we had to play for the seniors
Inconsiderate Beast says:
pomp and circumstance
    quique says:
ah
Inconsiderate Beast says:
anyways, we got over to the high school, I told dad to be at tucker collussium at 8:00 so i could go home with him, and stuff
Inconsiderate Beast says:
and I walked the thirty foot in the rain to the bandroom to get ready
Inconsiderate Beast says:
not many people had gotten there yet, so I went to the choir room, changed into concert uniform, found out that my skirt fit again, 'cause it hadn't at the concert, and put my slightly wet clothes in the bag my other stuff had been in
    quique says:
sounds like a pretty bad day
    quique says:
o_O;
Inconsiderate Beast says:
this is the lead-in ;p
Inconsiderate Beast says:
okay fine
Inconsiderate Beast says:
we got ready to go, I, as I hadn't been in band that afternoon, had no idea what to do, so i realize when we'd gotten to the texaco (about a mile) that no one had gotten the crash cymbals, which I play in pomp and circumstance. So mr. ray stops there and gets mr. kay so he can go back and get them. So I start feeling guilty that i'd been so stupid.
Inconsiderate Beast says:
anyways, we get to tucker, get set up, all the instruments including the seniors inside, and eventually we start playing pomp and circumstance. (I'd forgotten my music too, but mr. ray had copies) and then, after we repeated at the second ending when they were coming in, the left cymbal fell. The knot fell through the little hole it was in, and hit the floor.
Inconsiderate Beast says:
yeah, that was fun.
Inconsiderate Beast says:
it could've been worse though, but meh
    quique says:
mm
Inconsiderate Beast says:
anyways, we get done and they do all their speeches and stuff. i start watching the main entrances for my dad, even though it was only about 7:30
Inconsiderate Beast says:
we play ancient spirits, which luckily enough, was on the xylophone, not cymbals, with the seniors
Inconsiderate Beast says:
more speeches and stuff, keep watching, but dun ever see him
Inconsiderate Beast says:
then they leave the floor and we play pomp and circumstance and I just sorta stand there
Inconsiderate Beast says:
so then it's over, right, and we load up the bus. I get everything outside with sarah, who had been sitting in the stands above us
Inconsiderate Beast says:
I look for dad, and don't ever see him, so I get the idea of borrowing mr. k's cell phone to call his cell phone and find out where he is
Inconsiderate Beast says:
I do so, and he's at home, had thought about going down, and had fell asleep
Inconsiderate Beast says:
Yeah. That made me feel wonderful.
    quique says:
it happens
    quique says:
;/
Inconsiderate Beast says:
so I wollow in that feeling for the next half hour until I get home.
Inconsiderate Beast says:
change back into my clothes that haven't dried because they're in the sack that I'd put them in so I could've left from tucker
Inconsiderate Beast says:
and I get my shoes and go out to the truck where dad's parked, and I start off with the silent treatment. Yeah yeah, I'd thought up stuff to say, and I started with that when we'd left, and ended up starting to cry
Inconsiderate Beast says:
it was just stuff like 'I wish I could've been home at eight o'clock and had a nap'
Inconsiderate Beast says:
anyways
    quique says:
oh dear
Inconsiderate Beast says:
we get home, and I sorta ignore mom while I change out of my damp clothes, until she starts asking if something's wrong, and I tell her what I did dad.
    quique says:
erk
Inconsiderate Beast says:
anyways, crying more, and I try to get on the computer, but it did what it's doing today, so I give up on that and just go lie in bed until dad comes to say goodnight
Inconsiderate Beast says:
I ignore him to a point, and after he leaves, feel like I did something wrong, so I go into the living room, and we resolve all that
Inconsiderate Beast says:
so that's no longer a problem, but for some reason, I'm still in the bad mood >.<
    quique says:
;\
Inconsiderate Beast says:
but I feel slightly better now that I've been able to say all that..
Inconsiderate Beast says:
*hugs rick*
Inconsiderate Beast says:
thanks
    quique says:
i haven't done anything
    quique says:
... :/
Inconsiderate Beast says:
that's exactly how I like it
Inconsiderate Beast says:
stuff changes too often
Inconsiderate Beast says:
can't keep up with it
Inconsiderate Beast says:
can't depend on it
    quique says:
i almost made a bad comp-related joke
    quique says:
@_@

Inconsiderate Beast says:
heh
Inconsiderate Beast says:
is it about windows?
    quique says:
possibly
    quique says:
maybe something about microsoft making too many updates or something
Inconsiderate Beast says:
heh
