rubahNow that the initial sadness has released my limbs back into movement, I feel a little better! I even worked on my first hw assignment tonight (well, not very much on it xD) and made dinner for myself. I've gotten all my clothes put up and only have basically one more box of junk to sort out. I've got an idea for bus routeage and reduced my book price by $100.
Here are pictures of the apartment as it stands: (if I spell it appartement, realize that a certain amount of the brainspace necessary for spelling has been taken over by french spellings in lieu of english ones)
Here is our toilet, it looks well furnished!
the bedroom. There's not quite so much on the floor right now, because I picked it all up this evening :)
This is also a little more organized right now. I put the red tissue paper and the origami on the TV table and the dried leaves/flowers on the wall.
Having a laptop, I don't have much use for a computer desk right now ;) So it mostly just has computer things on it and stu's stuff is grouped around it. I also tidied this, wrapping the wires around their respective appliances, putting all the ethernet cables on the keyboard drawer out of the way, semi-setting up the speakers, and I put my tablet and scanner on there too for now.
Like I said, the floor is cleaner now, and the clothes are put up, the bags are shoved in that box, but there are some more toiletries up on there now.
Today the magnets are in the shape of a little person
I am a sticker whore, and recently it occurred to me that I could put stickers on my laundry basket, so if you have any stickers you don't know what to do with, send them my way :)
A small slice of sanity in the form of a night stand.
I found a glass bowl and put the cookies and cupcakes in there.
I cooked with this tonight! I also took down the lei/lantern because they were infereing with my vision :(
the table is turning into a bit of a catch-all, but I did eat at it.
I felt so much better when I put the clock up, let me tell you.
