rubah*twitches her way to bed and falls asleep immediately*
the ride up to hackett (tiny town. HALF of pottsville already scanty population.. Only like thirty people in their band, whom we could only hear the single bass drum and occaisional *WRONG* tuba note, or scrawling trumpet..) sorta sucked.. I guess I needed to be alone during the daylight hours.. That and it was freaking hot just like three rows back where I was originally sitting.
Anyways, we *WON* the game^^ 14:0^^ We got to play the fight song:DDD
Maybe that was because of the freaking cool pep rally we had^^ The cheerleaders are really good this year.. Jodi has this thing where she like goes up in the air on eric's sister and a couple of other girls, like, *All* the time.. Last year, they only did it like every now and then.. at the end of the season[s?]... And three of them do these somersalts and backflips way far..
Plus, they had a *fog* machine and strobe lights at the pep rally, way too cool for my school^^ The theme was sorta Men in Black, and all the football players had on these black sunglasses (Black and Gold all the way!)
We didn't play winter's tale at halftime, thankfully, but we did play turn turn turn^^
Then, during fourth quarter, the hackett band came over to our stands, and we played the Hey Song *twice*:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Serious band!pride moment^^ We screamed louder for ourselves and the hackett band than I think we did all evening for the football players^^;;;;;; Everyone would scream "ROCK ON!" "GO BAND!" W00T!!!!" (er, that was mostly me;)) and they'd go all sorta quiet, but still loudly buzzing, then someone else would start saying 'rock on!' again^^ That was great^^
The ride back was great^^
At first, I was happy that it was finally quiet enough for me to listen to the songs I'd missed on the ride there, but then david sat with joe in the seat across from me (no mixed seating after dark...) and had chris' guitar, so that sorta ruined that. Then, he and megan started talking in their fake accents, and I had to join in (I was sitting with megan) Then, after david left, I listened to my cd player a bit more, but then erik somehow gravitated to his seat, so I started talking to him, because megan was huddled up in the corner 'freezing'.
