Question:

what exactly is up with all those... let's call them strangly stylelized... lj userpics? Like, the faces with the different hair and stuff:P

I know moondog, claudiall, and natashca, amongst many others have them..

So why haven't I heard of them before now? @.@; I feel left out ^.^
