Jul. 22nd, 2003 01:16 amThe grasshoppers are finally getting past dad; I heard some while out getting the mail, though there's not nearly as many as there are away from the yard.
Another day to do nothing. I would've gone with mom and dad to corral the calves we're selling tomorrow, but they didn't tell me when they were going, and I'd forgotten about it otherwise. So I read about half of one of dad's books 'Tales of the Super-rich' I think it's quite out-dated, seeing as most of it seems to be about seventy years ago, or more.
Finished a Ring of Endless Light last night. It didn't have a real ending, but it was sufficient, and only needed more if you thought about it to much. Started An Acceptable Time. Am wondering of the zachs in both are the same... or if Madeline l'Engle just liked the name Zach.. I can't remember what zach in endless light's last name was though.. @.@
Did some pre-ap stuff today, only two questions though.. Better than nothing, still.
Tomorrow ought to be fun. I doubt that I'll be awake at eight when they're coming for the calves, although I might be woken up if the heifers get too distraught..
Plus we're out of milk, so we're definately going to the grocery store^.^ I wonder if mom'll let me get more bawls@.@ Which reminds me, must ask dad for allowance.. unless, wait.. did he say he was going to withhold it for a while? meh-_- School is like about to start.. that's bs..
Hmm, bible school is next week.. I suddenly get the impression that we're not going to get a chance to go to blanchard springs, unless it's on wednesday or thursday.. We have to baby-sit on saturday and sunday.. I really wanted to go somewhere this summer:/ I haven't gone anywhere during the summer since 2000.. we went somewhere for spring break the next two years, but not last year or this year.. ;_;
eh, rick's back now, but seri's gone for a while@.@; and kessah will be home soon^.^
