we had a jazz band meeting. it probably won't pan out, but it might. I dunno. I guess I'm playing piano with whitley. yey
got first place in the art contest--

(why do I always end up drawing ladies' faces in the bottom center? at least I didn't put a tree on the right and buildings on the left like I always used to do)
got a rather unwelcome phone call, but meh.
Oh, Dugger decided we won't be able to eat in the art room at lunch anymore. t3h uber sux. or go there during cokebreak. even more sux. I think I'll start spending some more time outside. I hope it gets warm soon. we're going to two-a-week quiz bowl practices, so that's every day but monday filled. it had better well get warm before soon.
Oh, hazel, you'd be proud-- I answered a question about an oscar wilde book today, despite it being I've never read it (Who was the vibrant young man who had his portrait painted in this oscar wilde novel?) I figured 'huh, well there's portrait of dorian grey. and he was a guy I think, so it might be it' was cool. something like that anyways.
(I was prouder of being able to multiply sqrt6*sqrt15 faster than tisha who is in precal/trig and hannah who is doing exactly that in algebra II. and I'm just in geometry and only use it when calculating the special right triangles:D (and pythagorean theorem) (3*sqrt10)
Anyways, we're doing marbleized paper in art again. I had tons of fun with this last year (even if someone stole my black and purple paper which I thought was the best:/ but I did like three others so it wasn't very important) and drew the catfish dragon (daddy of the baby dragon:D) and started a charlie's angel mermaid on another. Did three this year, and i think I'll go for one that's yellow and green mostly-- it looks like a monster is eating a Peep, so I'm doing a 'monster easter' theme:D It's cutting out this velour/felt paper stuff in silhouette, so there's several monsters, (one of them has a crown 'cause she's the queen or something, and another one is a little one and she's like in love with another little monster^_^) and they all have peeps that they're herding around and stuff, and a few easter eggs and a sun^_^
oh, song reminded me:D they were sharing playlists in #eoff the other day, and this one guy had a ton of jar of clay and dc talk and such, and it makes me feel hopeful that there might be more of a christian presence on irc than just me^_^
canada has gay marriage? apparently Dan got married (to a rich boy:P) and I'm sorta wondering, because it seems to be sexsexsexsex and not very much else. But I caught the tail end of his being on #mh.
anyways. all state tryouts tomorrow. gonna do sooo badly:D But it can't be much worse than how badly I did in seventh grade. right? That year I didn't even know HOW to play snare and timpani. good grief. and I was so nervous. I'm always nervous anyways, but that year I was shaking and crying (more than usual) because I'd never tried out before.

I mean, if you up and decide to marry dan then you either already *know* what kind of Mr. Toad's (tail's?) Wild Ride you're in for, or well, you're not exactly thinking all that much before you up and got yourself hitched. Either way, it's that guy's own fault, and thus I don't feel so bad for him. Maybe it is a match made in wherever (heaven? disneyland as it's theoretically the happiest place on earth? canada at least anyway...)
