I like ICON and the Black Roses. Somehow I got on their mailing list, which is cool, because they sorta sound like H.I.M. Unfortunately they're like, completely . . .missing from t3h networks, which at the moment limits me to the clips they have on the website. which is four of them. none more than a minute and a half long.

But they still sound cool. And they're a part of my list of 'magical summer time music that reminds me of FF8, which makes it even cooler. I don't know what it is with that list. It's like everything from May to June last year, and it's all cool and dark and starry and makes me think of ff8 and space camp.

Anyways, during band today, instead of practicing like a good girl, we talked about feasible prom themes for next year.

I bet rick remembers this, but does anyone else remember a scene I had in my head, of Egypt at night, with pyramids in the distance, a purple sky ahead, and sand dunes around you?

Hannah and Megan were writing down possible themes, and at first I wrote sunflowers and then a night under the cherry blossoms (I have to be a fan for SOME reason) then they were talking about egypt and I was like, 'hey I know the perfect thing' 'cause they kept going on about tombs and insides and stuff.

So I grabbed the notebook and started doodling, and they were like 'yey' And it was like what I described. And I mentioned the purple sky and how we could use that glittery paper stuff for stars. and hannah drew a little thing in the ground like the thing from aladdin:D

And for the king and queen thing, there could be like thrones and stuff, and outside in the courtyard, we could try to rig up a little mini-river and put floating candles in it. And inside have fake torches (what school would allow real torches in a building that they've banned candles in?)

and stuff yeah. I left this sitting open too longX.x the train of thought derailed a long while back.
