Imma gunna do it!

My exorbitant

(btw, apparently there is no word 'exorberant', it is instead 'exorbitant'. All 1290 fellow misusers of this word as revealed by google search hear now)

college of engineering fee ($300?) has proved useful tonight, in a rare happening. I decided to go through with what I've put off doing for several years now, and do some dual bootage on my desktop computer. I decided on xubuntu, burnt a cd, and am now using the microsoft academic alliance website to download a (hahaha!) legal copy of win xp pro. Oh my!

I have some more things to move to external harddrive, but I think I've gotten all the important things barring x men the animated series.

and I'll have to make sure and keep a charge on my laptop so I can look up how to install drivers for my wireless adapter (.yay.) anyways, keeping on keeping on.

btw my allergies have been horrible lately. the departure of my cold has brought them into full relief, as has my mowing of our yard. UGH

*sneezes*

Exuberant and exorbitant are both real words, but exorberant just sounds like an odd hybrid of the two...

I'm kinda interested in learning more about Linux, but for now I've got enough trouble just keeping up with Windows.

exuberant was what the spell check kept trying to convince me it was.

if you want to go the expensive route, OSX is a nice stepping stone to more geeky operating systems, I've found.

Linux has always been easier for me to use and configure than Windows. xD

good luck with the linux :D

it's always been something I've meant to get into - but honestly.. it's an OS for people who have time to tinker with their OS.

(Which in theory I do... but goddamn it - I have no time for that!!")

also: x-men animated series? classic 90's or that more current one I've barely seen?? - excellent? worth finding/downloading???

the 90s one! I only watched a couple of episodes, but it was like 'whoa! rogue is such a southern girl!'

the art is terrible and the costume designs really funnyxD
