so there's this renfaire saturday, I have a halloween costume from target that could be construed as vaguely renaissant, and it's really pretty.

If I go, should I wear it? xD I've always wanted to cosplay :O I just don't want to be tacky and look bad against people who have theirs made professionally or by themselves!

(btw i got all my laundry done before tomorrow!)

Women generally do well by wearing a ren-style dress. And really, what woman wouldn't want one of those? They're extremely awesome.

I think you should do it. You will probably be mid range on the greatness scale. There are those that try super hard and then there is this XD
