Finals are over, four of my grades are in (A B B C) and I'm at home for Christmas.
We have an artificial tree this year, and it's different in a lot of ways.
1) it doesn't stick out in front of the tv from being really fat at the bottom
2) we were able to put a star on the top for the first time in my life
3) we couldn't put any lights on it because it was prelit, so no colored lights
4) it doesn't smell right, but when all the ice melts, dad and I plan to cut some cedar branches.
Stu's been playing NMH and it's really cool I think. It was his christmas present but i've played one of the mini games and just enjoyed watching it.
We wrapped a bunch of presents, mine were mostly for mom, but there was one for dad and for megan too.
I haven't done very much yet, just laundry and decorating. Do I wait for stu to go home to start my cleaning work? I guess it depends on how bored I get.
I finished a book i started over Thanksgiving, The Long Night, an old Titanic novel I loved ever since the movie came out. I hadn't read it lately and really I just wanted to read it so I could read the sequel. I never liked it as much so I want to see what my feelings are on it now that I'm older.
