Thanks to massive allergy attack, I am kinda loopy this evening, making it the perfect night to crochet. That's when I decided that I thought the hat I made was way too big so I unravelled it all and started over. And now it's looking too small. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

In Watchers of the Skies, a certain Frenchman who was obsessed with finding a satellite of Mercury was called a "mauvais coucheur" by another Frenchman. In the 7^th grade, I was deeply amused by this phrase, but unfortunately, the on-line translations of the time rendered it as 'bad customer' rather than 'bad bedfellow', which completely obliterated the meaning, of course. My flirty attempt to use it on the object of my crushation at the time, fell flat on its face.

STEP ONE

Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun to medium to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.


STEP TWO

Surf around your friends list (or friends of friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Once a wish has been granted, it will be crossed off the list.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

srsly, kinda a uh, narrow field for a question of the day.

I really liked edgar when I played ff6. And I reaaaaaaaaally loved the chainsaw. Grabbing the sprites for this was kinda painstaking actually.


I've always had a soft spot for Remus. I always pictured him as a sandy blond. When I made a doll of the stars from the MWP&P days, I decided to homage the rampant sirius/remus slash community by using one of the slashiest doll bases like ever.


I really like cactuars too.


meeko, nari and I were going to start a art trio or something because that was kinda the thing to do, but we never actually did anything.


I found this site of steampunk star wars characters, and I really liked the way the guy portrayed leia. And this quote of hers is so cute and almost naive, which is pretty rare for hardass realist leia!
