Date: 2008-02-12 03:37 am (UTC)Is a man insane simply because he sees things and hears voices? Because he sees the world in strange and completely unintelligible ways? Or is he the sane one because he sees the world far more clearly than everybody else?
Perspective. It's always perspective coming in and breaking everything. You look at something one way, but the voices say to look at it differently. From another perspective. So you do, and then you don't know what to do anymore, so you just sit there.
I hate perspective.

However, the thing that's focused on helping them become "careless" is probably therapeutic communication. ;)
But I guess the drugs are needed to catch the disorder off guard enough for the non-pharmaceutical therapy to kick in.
