*is excited*

Thanksgiving break:D I've been looking forward to this.

It's raining again. 2004 has been the Year of Wetness, and it shall be remembered as such.

megan is having friend troubles. Apparently she's trying to get out of her 'friendship' with nicole, and I wish her the best in that. I myself went through the trouble of doing that last year and have now returned to a stable place (I think)

I must try my best to keep her from slipping too far down. It sucks being sad and mad and stuff during christmas.

But! thanksgiving:D I'm hungry for turkey all ready. And it's even raining:D perfect^_^

(I swear, I didn't have bawls to drink at lunch...¬¬)

Pen'n'Ink is fun to do. Except mine's half done and I can't work on it until monday ! Ha:D it looks so old timey and stuff:D I think I'll hunt down that one guy who has stuff at fineart.tk and refresh on style for pen'n'ink, and read manga, because manga is good for everything.

I must also doll, and icon, and stuff. And man I'm excited. I want to play every single game I own this weekend, especially 8 10 and 5. I've already got started on chocobo fun in seven. (Auron is such a dizzy racer:D Yuna is faster (w00t). . . But wait.. if we have to put rikku in the mix, she'd only be a wonderful chocobo, and auron's speed is less than yuna's.. if the same gender offspring gets the greater speed boost, then shouldn't I breed another female black chocobo (and have four) and try to catch a male wonderful yellow one? But then my naming scheme would be altered.. and the uber chocobo wouldn't be rinoa anymore.. it'd be male, like nooj or something.. ;_;;;;;; I shall prevail though! with my 133kph (kwehs per hour? ^^) yuna can ownz anyone in the S class. especially teioh. I've already got more than 15 wins and all those items(I was playing and thought I had reset without saving, and I sat there for a minute dumbstruck about to start crying, but I have saved, and I was so relieved.. I had spent like an hour racing chocobos. and it's boring to sit there waiting for the stupid five others to plod on down the track. bleh))

tyge has a raw spot around his rear. He has this new obsession with scratching, and keeps rubbing his hind end against our feet, my jeans, and the edge of mom and dad's bed. poor dog.

We got our new CSU t-shirts yesterday (or as I keep saying, tsu c-shirts)

They're green with 'Pottsville High School CSU: Psalms 48:14 on the front, and then on the back they have a football scoreboard with something like "God: Infinite, Satan: 0"

I tried to get them to use the Infinity symbol, but I was alone in this mostly (there was someone that agreed with me, but everyone else was like 'huh? what on earth is that?') so it just says (rather lamely) Infinite.

But they look cool-- definitely nicer than the ones we had in eighth grade.. but I still liked the ones in seventh grade better-- the prettiness factor at least.

It's a good shirt-- excellent for summer band practice I can tell.

(I'm in the jacole cave and enjoying my 5 ap from having skull eaters run away from me. I've got three people with lvl 3 white magic (one of them is actually a mage right now-- faris. Heh, lenna galuf and bartz all have hp in the two digits, while faris hasn't been koed once yet^_^

Good ol' gravy chain of AP)

!!!!!!!!!

I remember who the werewolf is in ff5!!

*recalls the town of requiem*

I tell you guys, this game is so awesome. It's so great to be playing it again^_^ Faris is a level 4 thief already@.x; she'll be sooo ready by the time I get the ninja job class (wait, is that one I'm about to get from the fire crystal? hmm...)

*goes back to watch the werewolf go on about the crystal*
rubah: (Default)
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Realization dawns.

ff5-- after you get the second crystal, check out the caller job class.

They all have horns.

I have for years wondered if that was supposed to be a tiara or something a caller wore, but now, after playing ff9, I realize what the crap it really is.

Wow.

Go square.

I always sorta thought eiko's horn was random.

Galuf's laugh warms my heart.

Exdeath, you will pay-- when I get that far.

W00t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*has been chocobo raising breeding and racing for the last few hours and she just beat Teioh with her mountain green chocobo:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD*

*feels uber*

take that, stupid black chocobo! (why isn't it purple? the black ones are usually purple it seems like...)

This warmed my heart this afternoon:

"The best fantasy RPG since Final Fantasy"

it was lord of the rings game, I forget what, but brittany, katelyn, and brianna had teh tv on during seventh hour (when the guys were running wire to the trailors in the back for the intercom w00t) and it played.

I came up with the idea last night to have a ff christmas party thing-- I mentioned it to ryan and he was like 'yeah, I'd soo come!' I think it could be interesting. That would be him, me, brent probably, michelle might, megan probably would because she's cool and my friend like that, and amy might come because she thinks some of them are hot and she's good friends with brent, and yeah-- it could be interesting. Too bad james moved-- we used to discuss auron's coolness.. ooh, what about jesse? hmm This could be something:D

Man.. definitely not a good idea to play ff7 all day yesterday.

Literally, all day. nine a.m. to 1:30 last night. I had irc and internet breaks (as well as look up what the percy I'm supposed to do next breaks)

No surprise about what I dreamt of last night then. There were lots of those shinra soldiers, except they were travelling with us. And I kept forgetting to de and reequip them, so there was lots of traveling back to save points to use the PHS and switch out members (definitely because of when I had tifa with lots of good materia when she left the party temporarily-_- darn you tifa!)

Emerald Weapon scares me. It follows me in my submarine. When I was getting the key for the city oft he ancients, I would go up a couple of feet, move the camera just about all 360 degrees, then go up another couple of feet, move teh camera.. man it was freaky.

I also found a plane while looking for the red submarine to get my huge materia back, went in, grabbed a heaven's cloud from the box, then went to save, then thought 'wait, what if this turns out to be like the save point in yuffie's little mini world' so I ran back to my gamefaqs window and ctrl+f'ed for 'gelnika' and decided that if they thought level 58 was a good level, I might as well wait until I was at 64. (I'm like, over levelled right now. the dude who wrote the faq just now quit saying that I should be at level 38, and cloud's like level 50 -_- but hey, it makes the battles easier:D And its way better than being underlevelled, especially since the stat raising items dont' seem to rely on levels like the ones in ff8¬¬

Of course, it's hard to be underlevelled in ff8 anyways. So it doesn't matter much. But man, I love squall and rinoa having 254 strength. Well, squall anyways. rinoa has 255. Rinoa's got some weak spell junctioned too, and squall just has flare:D Poor quistis and zell were my scape goats while getting the AP. They didn't start getting full stat bonuses until like level 50 something^_^ irvine rinoa and selphie were all around level 30 something. of course squall gets all the items I find-- speed boosters, and what have you.

*blinks* man, see? I do play too much ff. -_-

Ah, CJ is employing problem solving strategies. He's at the age where he realizes that just pushing on something won't always make it move. He had the little 'rocking' horse out (it's getting too small for him) and was trying to drag it into the kitchen. Not only is there a raise in the floor going up, but there's a piano and a bench in the way, and not to mention that right now, there's a fan in the way, after getting cleaned up for winter storage.

Bright little chap he is, he thought enough to pick the fan up and lift it over the frame of the horse (it's suspended by springs between these two little bars on wheels, awesome toy, though) instead of ramming it and breaking it.

w00t.

Oh, the mood is a phrase mr. wheeler kept repeating today. I thought it was sorta funny, even if it's not too great.

FF7 has turned really weird.. and I'm still on the first disc.

I can see why a lot of people like it though.

(I put together a new playlist of the scariest sounding music that I can think of.. it's only 85 songs, and most of it is from boss battles. haha. Yeah, this is one too, because I really really really like it:P)
rubah: (Default)
Started ff7 yesterday, but I didn't feel like doing it seriously, so I did stuff off the top of my head and didn't save. I quit sometime right before the second reactor..

And I played today up to where they're attacked by this monster in the sewers.. but I didn't bother saving, so I get to play the entire wall market thing again. and now that I've finally realized how to do it, it shouldn't take as long, and I should be able to do it much better this time:D

ie-- it's fun. and darnit pre ap english, I've started trying to put facts together about what's going to happen;_;

stupid reading sk1llz, they're ruining this for me:P

it's lucky I like the music from the wall market. else it would've got really old the first hour.
rubah: (Default)
Status attacks:
Sleep regains hp, but still makes you unable to attack until waking up or being hit.
Stoned causes the character to make erratic actions found no where else in the game.
I havent seen any others yet.

*giggles*

Okay, those two were from things where I was trying to go through my LJ hunting for quotes and sites I've linked randomly, to make a new page for snowy-day.. and I saw those two status attacks, but JUST NOW(!!) Both windows (I started from the beginning of this year headed up and just recently headed down) and the up window was on where I got 100% completion on ffx-2.. whereas... the down window was where I beat ff8:D

and I love both their endings. it's a marvelous coincidence
rubah: (Default)
I was playing with the piano yesterday and came up with a repeating bass line for a song. so today, I had mom play it (just three notes) and put a treble line. Sounds sorta neat, but I dunno where it goes after that

http://www.snowy-day.net/stuff/song%20thing.mid

and YES. icons went through this week. and people have actually voted for them. *is climbing in the ranks here*

I take this stuff too seriously ;_; stupid sense of fairness and justice!

oh, did an icon of garnet and zidane. rawr. and a doll.. who *could* look like zidane;)

First: A hate: (then two loves, but shh)

The bane of my existance is now officially the 'Tile Windows' button. any of them. ANY. I don't care if it's in psp, WinXP, or mIRC. they all suck. (except the mirc one is easiest to remedy, with 'position save' options. *loves on mIRC* the one embedded into the menu from right clicking the task bar is by far the worst. I had to take like three minutes just now to go back and replace all of the many windows it crunched into evilness. I'm reluctant to spring forth into using 1024x768, so I try to keep all windows (unless it's like.. IM windows and stuff) maximized, or if they don't want to open in th emaximized state, as big as I can stretch them out. w00t. it's annoying.

Rick, you dont' know of an override to at least put a lock on that button? bleh.

But now, two loves:

PSXMC. a beautiful program. and it opens files from my ff9 cds. or at least disc 4. psmplay refused to do that much:/ there was also a 'psxtulz' program I ran across, and while it appeared to be safe, it doesn't seem to be able to extract the fmvs. which is what I'm looking for. *thinks* to mention it.. I don't remember where I told psxmc to save that file-_- dangit. *goes to open program*

Crap. wow.

This program has now increased greatly in respect points.. All the fmvs from disc four are neatly piled in *it's* own subfolder, in .avi form (I used huffyuv, so they should be decent..) *cracks open a program to see* Mmm.. even in windows media player that's beautiful. (what surprised me is that it opened the 780odd mb file like a charm.. ) I wonder what these others are..

mmm, so pretty. this is definitely nicer than the way I had to do it with ff8, using a dos program ^^; lol.

next love:

PSP's color adjustment tool. gosh it's so awesome:D I'm doing this doll ([livejournal.com profile] zipplezone I'm actually using one of your bases>:D) and using the "Color Balance" in the Colors/Adjust menu, gosh! he went from being an angsty squall to a happy zidane:DDDDDD *loves on psp* take that photoshop:D
rubah: (Default)
Well. that was nice.

*finally went back and beat through ff9* I decided that I'd just go on and beat it tonight, and see about all that levelling/chocoboing/etc later. But yeah. I don't remember when I started.. it was after midnight or so I know for sure.. and then I had a couple of breaks for reading stuff in forums..

but it's 5:40 and the ending has been playing since 5:00.

I like these kinds of endings best. the happy ones

It sorta sucks that the best part of the entire game was the ending dungeon/ending
rubah: (Default)
ah. it's started raining finally.

Supposedly there was a big huge stormfrontthing that was supposed to come in and stuff, so mr. ray and mr. k were waiting in the parking lot telling everyone to 'go home' (dad and I were getting freaked when we saw all these people going past us, the wrong way-- david [ashley] and joe, chris, jesse, and hannah, kelsey, tish and amy, and tons other people@.@)

But now, it's seven hours since then and it's finally started raining from the sounds of it.

Clarksville is only half an hour away. You'd think it must have been moving really really really really slowly. They said then [5:00] that it was supposed to be there at 6:30 and here at 7... and it's midnight now...

Man I wanted to play that solo in farandole too;_; I even got out my bells set to practice. maybe next week. but that's senior night and he'd probably give it to tisha and [insert senior who isn't jodi here] although I'm not sure if there was another senior other than jodi that wanted it that wasn't tisha... hmm

FF9 has gotten a lot more interesting. I spent yesterday and a little of today hunting down the 'friendly' creatures... I think I missed the yeti and maybe the mu/ladybug. 'cause the stupid yan ran away:P (I managed to kill one though, by itself. then I kept running into sets of threes. First time I remember seeing Game over;))

So now I'm researching stuff for the chocobo thing. This map should help immensely. I was looking for one thing over in the bottom left corner of the world map, and it may just be in the top right. hahahahaha.
rubah: (Default)
Oh. sure. *NOW* dynastynet connects me. It got all the way to reconnect attempt 99, and of course that's because it doesn't go further than that.

*pokes empire* cool

*has been playing ff9 and actually having fun* Such an oxymoronic incident.

I dunno why people always refer to the GF Eden as a he..

I always call her a she. Probably because I know a chick named Eden.

ifrit, diablos, brothers, leviathan, bahamut, cerberus, alexander, tonberry, cactuar, doomtrain, those are the ones I picture as guys..

shiva, siren, pandemona, eden, those are the girls (if GFs even have genders.. but I like to think they do)

queza and carbuncle are harder to define.. quezacotl's probably feminine, and carbuncle masculine, but yeah..

random crap about who I like my gfs with )

Quote of the Day #something:

"Poor creature. You would throw away hope..."
--Yunalesca.
rubah: (Default)
I love the way yunalesca was voice acted. I haven't played through that part in a long while and I still remember exactly how she said her lines.. The tremor on 'let me be your liberator!' etc..

I don't like her though. Just the way she spoke:)

Doesn't explain this though:

Am getting better. Now instead of a runny nose, I have a stuffed up one and a cough. I think the cough is because mom feeds me these gel cap pills-_- I'm going to refuse to take one tomorrow. I hate coughing like this. It's the one where you hurt your throat, and it's really deep in your chest, and it almost tastes sweet @@;;; Those kinds of coughs scare me.

Started to doll again today(darn you and your bases papaya!). Yunalesca. She really doesn't have too many clothes, even if you don't think about it.

And apparently I was the only one in our class that could conjugate french verbs. Well, until today. Sarah can now, 'cause she went and studied.

(Gonna be uber, gonna be uber)

Beautiful beautiful weather (thank you mr. hurricane:D) I've started dressing for warmth, in part because it's not nearly as warm outside, and partly because I've been like, sick:P Everyone keeps saying 'omg its lyk hot in here@!!!!111' and I'm like freezing@.@:;;; it sux0rs.

http://www.ryu-works.com/ is AWESOME AWESOME! Another artist that draws squall regularly four years after the video game, lyk omp kewl!:D ^_^ *loves on* I can't read a thing on it-_- reason one is because I can't read japanese. reason two is because I don't even have the stupid character set, so they're all ?????. Gotta ask Cory Tyler to put that on here.. darn you microsoft and not giving people disks they need-_-

anyways. I found out that I'm not hopeless at snare. Mr. ray asked if I'd look at the music so I could play it on thursday when jasmine and david left so the basses/quad/cymbal wouldn't be lost when they stayed after practice to practice.. Farandole is really easy.. beethoven is harder because it's got a lot more sixteenths+triplets but I did pretty good in math class, trying to remember how it sounded on the field.

Oh. I ate lunch in the cafeteria for the first time this year today. It was strange. Didn't stay long. But it was so much nicer than last year-- ashley and ashley and their people weren't there. I have no clue where ashley was, and ashley moved. I couldn't stand her. It's hard to stand ashley some times, but I've grown accustomed to her strange ways.. riding the same bus for two years does that.

So yargh
